Artist's Description

The abandoned steel frame of the Peter Iredale sailing vessel, which ran aground on the coast of Oregon in 1906, sits on the beach in heavy fog. It has been coupled with a verse from the Holy Bible, which states: "For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." ~ Luke 19:10 (NKJV)
