This image by Lincoln Rogers is a compilation of two of his photographs. The aged and beautiful image is intended to create a sense of connection with the history of the land and its harvest, as well as to remember the God of Heaven who caused the earth to bring forth its grasses, fruits, herbs and seeds on the third day of creation as described in the book of Genesis, chapter 1, verses 11 through 12 - Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so.
