This photo by Lincoln Rogers is a capture of three untamed horses in a spotlight, shadows and the smoke of a fog machine. Black and white has been used and some aging textures have been applied to give this image the dramatic appearance of peering into the distant past of the sixth day of biblical creation, when God created the beast of the earth according to its kind, as it states in the book of Genesis, chapter 1, verses 24 and 25 - Then God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind; and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
Lincoln Rogers enjoys capturing through his lens the people, places, events and landscapes of the cowboy, the horse and the American West.
