Description
A detail shot of the window and side of the old 18th century McGulpin House on the historic and beautiful Mackinac Island in Michigan, USA. The preserved house is thought to have been originally constructed in 1780 by some of the first settlers on the island. The offical history states the McGulpin House is a gable-roofed French Canadian “pièce sur pièce, à queue d`ronde” (squared horizontal logs with dovetail corners) structure.

I had to go back quite a ways to find a work I hadn't already favorited and voted on. So glad I found this one...the textures are just spectacular Lincoln. That weathered wood is something you just can't find today. Beautiful. F/V
