Description
A narrow path winds through a tranquil Colorado mountain forest in the grey light of an overcast day, inviting anyone to explore its peaceful beauty. We found this path while being evacuated from a nearby area due to the recent flooding rains in Colorado. We had to stop on the road and wait for it to be repaired, but you can't just ignore the beauty of creation, no matter what is happening all around. We found this path and out came the camera.

That path looks cut into the forest floor. What a nice find while you were waiting.
Lincoln Rogers replied:
Good eye, Lisa! It is a trail used by hikers and horseback riders that, as a result, is cut into the forest floor.

Thanks Jordan! The red of the soil up there was quite complementary with the forest.
